After a 2 hour intense presentation regarding the Graduation process to the President of the college, the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Vice President of Student Affairs and a dozen Deans and Chairs of departments, I was toast. Today was my last day of work for the next 9 working days!
I cleared all the degree audits off my desk and laid out a plan for my co-worker to follow, my last formal duty was to set my out of office response. But first I checked emails one last time and came across an email from my one of my co-workers, it included this quote:
“When two people are one in their inmost hearts. They shatter even the strength of iron or of bronze. And when two people understand each other in their inmost hearts, their words are sweet and strong like the fragrance of orchids.”
With 3 days to go, Larry and I will be completing some last minute errands Thursday and Friday. We are excited to know that our family and friends will surround us as we celebrate our marriage!
